Abstract:Since the 16th National Congress of trade unions and the deepening of Beijing's urban function orientation and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional coordinated development strategy, the trade union cause in Beijing has been carried out , and has entered a new stage of development. It is seen from the major role played by the Beijing trade unions in leading its workers in the process of speeding up the transformation of its process of urban construction, and the function of promoting the co-construction and sharing of its development achievement in the process of improving modern market economic system. Moreover, the trade unions in Beijing has been trying out a series of reform designs and fruitful practical explorations in the process of deepening the reform in the Capital, providing a reference on how to play the role of trade unions and innovate and develop the trade union work with Chinese characteristics and features of the times in the transforming and upgrading mega-cities in China
