Abstract:The original legislative intention of the labor contract law is to promote a harmonious and stable labor relations. The main criteria of assessing the enforcement effect of the labor contract law should be based on the improvement of the coordinated and stable labor relations in enterprises. After ten years of its implementation, the labor contract Law has generally improved the labor relations in enterprises, which can be seen from the orderly and standardized employment management, enhancement of labourers’ capability of protecting their own legitimate labor rights, and adjustment of labor-capital power towards a relatively balanced pattern. In addition, more systematic effort should be made in the enforcement of constructing the harmonious and stable labor relations in enterprises.
