Abstract:This study focuses on analyzing the impacts of artificial intelligence (AI) technology on laborers' occupational types, employment scale and their income, and proposes that workers of low-end services, manufacturing and finance industries may suffer job losses in the short term. This trend will spread into other industries, such as medical profession, as well as education and pension industries in the long run. Thus, attention should be paid to issues of workers' short-term unemployment, their re-employment and continual widening income gap. In addition, suggestions have also been made that the government should strengthen macro-control to rationalize secondary income distribution and to further carry out education and training.
