Abstract:Xi Jinping's notion of the labor, the inheritance and development of Marxist labor notions, is his complete, systematic view by using dialectical thinking on the labor and laborers. In affirming the great significance of the labor for the development of our country, Xi Jinping advocates that laborers should actively participate in labor practice, and maintain the labor nature of hard work and disregard the fame and fortune. In the meantime, Xi Jinping's notion of the labor emphasizes the key position of laborers and their personal development. Xi Jinping further points out the important role of labor in the process of laborers' personal development, and encourages laborers to improve their labor level through theoretical study, while requiring the state and government to provide workers with perfect labor security, to educate the whole society to uphold labor and respect workers. It is clear that Xi's ideas embody the dialectical relationship between national and personal development, labor practice and theoretical study, arduous struggles and labor security, and disregard the fame and fortune, but respect the labor. This paper, by sorting out these dialectical relations, aims to provide workers, the state and society with a correct understanding of and attitudes towards the labor in the new era.
