Abstract:The current recognition of the housekeeping industry in China is still low, which severely restricts its professionalization and large-scale development. After more than 60 years of development, home economics education in the Philippines has formed a broad and firm social foundation, which not only enables the enlightenment and spread of domestic awareness, and enables the people to establish a fair career concept, but also assists to train professional domestic staffs to meet market needs and bring up the world brand of Filipino domestic workers. The complete domestic education system in the Philippines provides strong educational support for the professionalization of Philippine domestic workers. Drawing on the experience of the Philippines, in order to promote the construction of political education and family labor education in our country, this study holds that we should accelerate the construction of the home economics education system that covers the entire educational process, vigorously spread the awareness of home economics, and increase its social recognition.In the meantime, we should also give full play to the main role of the university and improve the higher domestic educational system, absorbing more human resources into the housekeeping industry.Furthermore, it is imperative to innovate the talents training mechanism, and build a housekeeping talents cultivation system that integrates vocational education, vocational training and qualification certification to effectively guarantee and improve the service quality of the housekeeping industry.
