Abstract:The idea of "common prosperity" runs through the centuries of struggle of the Communist Party of China. The realization of common prosperity is the continuous struggle direction of the CPC since its founding. This study, based on the theoretical and practical exploration of common prosperity, and based on history, reality and the times, aims to grasp the meaning of value of achieving common prosperity and explore the feasible path to achieving common prosperity in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. To achieve common prosperity, the Communist Party of China ( CPC ) and the Chinese government have been struggling and forging ahead, uniting and leading the Chinese people actively explore and carry out some pioneer works in practice, and have achieved fruitful results in theories, systems, and policies. Stepping into the new era, we have moved towards achieving the goal of the second century of striving forward, whilst the era and strategic significance of achieving common prosperity has become increasingly prominent. The study holds that for the new journey, strategic decisions should be made to achieve common prosperity in the new era, i.e. adhering to the leadership of the CPC is the prerequisite, solving the problem of relative poverty is the key, solidly promoting high-quality development is the core, and building a high-quality educational system is the guarantee.
