Abstract:Model workers are outstanding representatives among the laboring masses, and the Party and government have always attached great importance to the work of model workers. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party, building on the labor model theories of classical Marxist writers, carrying on the historical practices of model workers during the revolutionary, construction, and reform periods by the Chinese Communist Party, and promoting the excellent tradition of the Chinese people's love for labor while focusing on the realistic theme of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese people, General Secretary Xi has made a series of important statements about model workers, with its core content including the theory of the connotation of model workers, the value theory of model workers, and the work theory of model workers. Thus, an in-depth study of Xi Jinping's important discourse on model workers has significant theoretical and practical implications.
